Hello again, old friend. Quite some time has passed since we last saw each other. You haven’t changed much, but I have. Not really for the better either. You see, our on-again-off-again relationship over the last ten years have been really hard on me.
But it isn’t your fault. It’s never really been your fault. It was always mine. I miss the days before. The days when we were together every day at five-thirty in the morning. You always gave me a hard time in those days but it was worth it. You went by a different name in those days: “World’s Gym.” Those were some great days.
These days you’re a little fancier with a fancy new name, but that’s okay with me. I know we can be great again together. But we’ll take it slow this time. Two, three times a week to start.
Let’s do this again. What do you say?
